The Rangeley Friends of the Arts recently announced the winners in the Western Mountain Photography Show held Sept. 23-25 at the Rangeley Inn and Tavern in Rangeley.

The winners of the juried exhibit, each receiving a cash award and ribbon, were as follows:

Best in Show: Jen Hickey, The Hathaway Scissors.

Monochrome Division: Kathy White, Living, Loving, Legacy, first place; Mark Turner, Graveyard, Barters Island, second; and William Burke, Native Sentinel, third.

Color Division: Jen Hickey, Preservation Hall, first; Dan Marquis, Trunks, second; and Mark Turner, Narthex, third.

People’s Choice, which was earned by Fletcher Dellavalle, a junior at the Rangeley Lakes Regional School, for his image, Morning Stretch.

The winners were recognized at an award reception Sept. 24. The event was co-sponsored by the Rangeley Inn, Touch the Wild Nature Photography and Rangeley Region Lake Cruises and Kayaking.
