A Windham man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday evening as he rode a bicycle on Anderson Road, police said.
Brandon Dumond, 25, who lived on Anderson Road, was dead when officers arrived at the scene of the crash, Windham police said in a news release shortly after midnight.
The crash was reported about 6:50 p.m. A short time later, a single-vehicle crash was reported on River Road, in the area of Rousseau Road. Police said they were working to determine whether that vehicle was involved in the crash that killed Dumond.
Anderson Road was closed until about midnight as police investigated the accident.
Windham police were still investigating early Thursday morning, but further details were unavailable.
