Veterans should be treated with respect. Veterans from the Vietnam War were called “baby killers” and other hurtful names by civilians. Veterans from all wars should be treated with the respect they deserve after sacrificing their lives to serve our country.
When my team went to the Cole Land Transportation Museum, we got to talk to veterans and hear their stories. I learned that respecting our veterans is important. By doing this we learned about the wars veterans were in and got to meet some of the veterans in these wars. Without them we wouldn’t have the amount of freedom we have today.
Veterans gave their lives to keep our country free, and for that our veterans and soldiers deserve our respect. After I went to the museum, it made me think a lot more about how veterans should be treated with respect and kindness that they deserve.
