Recently we went to our favorite grocery store, in Waterville. The bill came to $74.82 and we paid with a $100 bill, a welcome Christmas gift for an elderly couple 83 and 92 years old, respectively. We got back a $20 bill, a $5 bill and change. We then went for lunch, where we paid with the $20 bill. The waitress was gone a long time, then came back and said the bill was counterfeit.

What a lovely present for us. Thank you, whoever you are. Someday you will stand before God, and what will you say?
