WAYNE — An authentic Hungarian dinner and illustrated talk is set for 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, (snow date: Sunday, Feb. 12), at Cary Memorial Library’s Williams House, 4 Old Winthrop Road.

Kati Vecsey will prepare a selection of traditional Hungarian appetizers, goulash, a vegetarian option of cherry soup, and warm apple strudel for dessert. Hungarian wines will accompany the meal.

Between dinner and dessert, Vecsey will give a brief talk about Hungary and reflect on life in a Communist country. She was born in Budapest and grew up there. She moved to Maine in 1995 and is a Senior Lecturer in Theatre at Bates College.

Only 24 tickets will be sold for the library fundraiser, tickets cost $25 per person.
