FAIRFIELD — Hunter Mercier hit four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 18 points to guide the Lawrence girls basketball team over Edward Little 48-39 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference game Thursday night. Mercier was joined in double figures by Cameron Caldwell, who hit two 3-pointers and scored 14 points. Lawrence (10-5) led 25-18 at halftime.

Jordan Reynolds had 12 points and Chantel Ouellette had 11 for the Red Eddies (13-3).

ERSKINE 41, BELFAST 38: Ally Bonsant scored 15 points and hauled in nine rebounds to lead the Eagles in South China.

Jordan Linscott added 11 points, seven steals and six rebounds for Erskine (3-12).

Belfast (2-14) was led by Macy Gale with 12 points.

WINSLOW 57, MARANACOOK 20: Ciara LeClair scored 17 points and Heather Kervin added 15 to lead the Black Raiders (13-2) in Winslow.

Kervin added six steals and LeClair added five rebounds, and Weslee Littlefield chipped in 10 points, five rebounds and five assists for Winslow.

Amanda Goucher led the Black Bears (0-16) with five points.

SKOWHEGAN 41, HAMPDEN 35: Sydney Reid and Mariah Dunbar each scored 11 points to pace the host Indians to the KVAC A win.

Annie Cooke added nine points for Skowhegan (11-4).

Sophie Narofsky scored nine points to lead Hampden (10-5).

MOUNT VIEW 39, WATERVILLE 37: Shala Davis scored game-high 21 points, including six free throws in the final two and a half minutes, to lead the Mustangs to the KVAC victory in Thorndike.

Halle Reynolds scored 10 points and Andrea Crosby added eight for the Mustangs (6-9).

Jordan Jabar scored 10 points to lead the Purple Panthers (8-7).

BOYS BASKETBALL

EDWARD LITTLE 81, LAWRENCE 60: Darby Shea scored 20 points and Samatar Iman added 19 as the Red Eddies rolled to the KVAC victory in Auburn.

Jarod Norcross-Plourde scored 15 points for EL (15-1).

Mason Cooper scored a team-high 19 points for the Bulldogs (3-12).

MOUNT VIEW 63, WATERVILLE 42: Joey Danna scored a game-high 25 points to spark the Mustangs in Thorndike.

Colby Furrow and Kalvin Croteau each added 12 points for Mount View (7-8).

Jack Lloyd led Waterville (1-14) with 19 points while Alan Martin scored 12.

BELFAST 59, ERSKINE 50: Noah Bonsant had 14 points and 10 rebounds but the Eagles lost to the Lions in South China.

Cody Taylor and Braden Soule each scored eight points for Erskine (8-7), which was playing without the injured Jack Jowett.

Zane Bielenburg scored 15 points to lead Belfast (9-7).

UNIFIED BASKETBALL

WATERVILLE 54, WINSLOW 52: Nick Belanger scored 20 points as the Purple Panthers outscored the Black Raiders 32-26 in the second half to earn their first win of the season.

Lauren Anderson added 10 points for Waterville (1-1) while Dakota Moore and Joseph Libby-Cornette each scored eight.

Winslow (1-1) was led by Jakob Varney with 14 points. James Mason and Joey Kingsbury scored eight apiece as well.
