SATURDAY
Animal Tracking, 9:30 a.m. in Woolwich
Join the Kennebec Estuary Land Trust for an animal tracking adventure at DeWick Farm, led by Maine Master Naturalists Priscilla Seimer and Becky Kolak. Participants will learn to interpret clues to tell the story of wildlife in winter. Maine has few true hibernators; many creatures stay active looking for food, water and mates. Participants will learn to measure and interpret an animal’s print, track, straddle and stride. To register, email bkolak@kennebecestuary.org or call 442-8400. Directions to the farm will be given at registration.
