Doesn’t it just make your heart bleed for Gov. Paul LePage to cry about his $105,000 salary and benefits plus free housing, food, and utilities package while at the same time he tightens the screws, making it harder for 186,000 Mainers who are trying to survive on less that $12,000 a year in income? How unfortunate he doesn’t have the same empathy for poor Mainers that he showed for his daughter, for whom he provided a good-paying state job.
Should he and the GOP succeed in unseating U.S. Sen. Angus King, LePage will fit right in making the rich richer and leaving the poor, elderly, and disabled out in the cold.
