BUDGET: Town Administrative assistant and treasurer Priscilla Jones said residents approved a budget of a little over $1 million.

MAJOR ITEMS APPROVED: Residents voted to appropriate $200,000 for the Public Works Department, $87,392 for the second payment for funds borrowed for paving, $50,000 for anticipated gravel roadwork, $46,520 for the third of four payments for three Public Works trucks purchased in 2014 and $16,000 for cemetery maintenance.

MAJOR ITEMS REJECTED: A proposed ordinance regarding regulations for yard sales was not approved, as it was discovered there had not been a public hearing prior to the vote.

ATTENDANCE: 100

CONTESTED ELECTIONS: Three people ran for two open seats on the Board of Selectmen. Incumbents Brian Barrows and Michael Cray both won re-election receiving 60 and 57 votes respectively. There was one challenger, Robin Frost, who received 44 votes.
