AUGUSTA — A group, Grief After Death from Addiction, will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays for six weeks, starting May 10, at the Alfond Center for Health, 35 Medical Center Parkway.

This group is for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one due to the misuse of drugs and alcohol. Participants will have the opportunity to explore feelings of grief and loss in a supportive peer setting.

The support group is a MaineGeneral Hospice Volunteers of Kennebec Valley program.
