NEWPORT, R.I. — Hannah Fossett of Gardiner, was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in healthcare administration and management magna cum laude during Salve Regina University’s 67th commencement on May 21.

Salve Regina President Jane Gerety conferred 679 degrees in total, including 450 bachelor’s degrees, 220 master’s degrees and 12 doctoral degrees.

Salve Regina University is a Catholic, coeducational university founded in historic Newport, R.I. by the Sisters of Mercy. Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, the university offers a comprehensive education with a liberal arts foundation that fosters the development of each student’s individual talents. It is home to the Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy a multidisciplinary research center focused at the intersection of politics, policies and ideas.
