HALLOWELL — Vaughan Woods & Historic Homestead will host its second annual Garden Party from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 24, on the historic grounds of the 1794 Homestead at 2 Litchfield Road.

The event will celebrate the Homestead’s new Garden Pavilion and the first phase of restoration to Vaughan Woods’ 1930 High Arch Bridge.

There will be old-time string band music featuring Mark Horn on banjo, Joe Flood on fiddle and Stan Keach on guitar, historical exhibits, a raffle auction, food and drink and more.

The event is sponsored in part by Longfellow’s Greenhouses and The Quarry Tap Room. Proceeds will support VWHH public programming and the multi-phase Vaughan Bridges Restoration Project.
