WISCASSET — The Wiscasset Art Walk, in the Village center, is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 29.

In addition to Wiscasset Village’s collection of artist-owned galleries, specialty shops, antique venues, restaurants and music, there also will be special events. Guest artists, performers and a high-end craft show are planned.

There will be bree tours of the Nickels-Sortwell House, owned by Historic New England, and Wiscasset’s self-guided Museum in the Streets, now with a new app, can provide the context for this historical Village, once a proud shipping community.

Wiscasset Art Walks are held 5-8 p.m. the last Thursday of the summer months: June 29, July 27, Aug. 31 and Sept. 28. Participant sites are marked with colorful streamers and touring maps are available throughout the village.
