MADISON — Madison Public Library has been awarded a $500 grant from the Maine Public Library Fund, also called the Tax Check-Off Fund. Voluntary contributions from Maine citizens as part of their state tax returns have made this fund possible.

The grant was used to purchase Dash and Dot Robots and accessories, so children can learn about coding and programming in a fun way.

Christina Dorman from the Maine State Library will give a talk July 25 at Madison Public Library as part of its Summer Reading Program.
