The Wiscasset Art Walk is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 27, in Wiscasset. The event will feature a marimba band, a craft show in an historic barn, and artists painting outdoors throughout the village.

The Maine Marimba Ensemble will perform as Middle Street will be partially closed to vehicles to become a performance stage. Artist-owned galleries, specialty shops, antique stores, and food venues will be open.

The Nickels-Sortwell House will host a juried craft show in the house museum’s barn and lawn at the corner of Main and Federal streets. Twenty-eight crafters, all from Maine, will display their handiwork from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Wiscasset Art Walks are held 5-8 p.m. the last Thursday of the summer months, July 27, Aug. 31, and Sept. 28.

Touring maps are available throughout the village.
