Saturday at 9:37 p.m., two people were arrested on a variety of charges after police responded to a report of a hit and run accident coming from a Court Street caller. Courtney W. Berzinis, 34, of Augusta, was arrested on charges of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, violating condition of release and operating while license suspended or revoked. She was also was arrested on three warrants from Kennebec County. Shawn T. Lord, 37, of Readfield, was arrested on charges of operating while license suspended or revoked and two warrants, one from Augusta District Court and one from Kennebec County.

Sunday at 2:18 a.m., Thomas G. Walton, 54, of Burnham, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop at Riverside Drive and Route 3 and charged with operating while license suspended or revoked and violating condition of release.
