A home in Waterboro was heavily damaged Sunday morning after a large pickup truck operated by a juvenile crashed into it, York County Sheriff William L. King Jr. said.

King issued a news release that said the juvenile apparently fell asleep at the wheel around 5:30 a.m. The juvenile, who is not being named or charged, and his passenger, 41-year-old James Houle of Old Orchard Beach, refused to be hospitalized and did not appear to have suffered serious injuries.

Photographs of the damage caused by the 2009 GMC 2500 pickup truck showed a partially collapsed wall and extensive damage to the exterior of the home, which is located in the 200 block of Main Street in Waterboro. The homeowner was not at home when the truck hit his residence.
