Cheverus High School has canceled activities Monday after receiving a threatening email.
All student activities at the Portland school have been canceled. An employee received an email about a threat to the school over the weekend, according to school officials.
Lt. Robert Martin of the Portland Police Department said police received a report from Cheverus regarding the threatening email and an investigator has been assigned. He declined to comment further.
Classes start at Cheverus on Aug. 31.
