WINTHROP — Michaela Vicneire scored six goals to lead the Carrabec girls soccer team to a 6-2 victory over Winthrop in the Mountain Valley Conference opener for both teams Friday.

Kelsey Creamer had six saves for the Cobras (1-0-0).

Aaliyah Wilson-Falcone scored both of Winthrop’s (0-1-0) goals.

MADISON 7, MT. ABRAM 1: Ashley Emery scored three goals and added an assist to lift the Bulldogs to an MVC win in Madison.

Emily Edgerly scored two goals, while Jillian Holden also tallied a goal for the Bulldogs (1-0-0). Sidney LeBlanc had a goal and three assists, while Whitney Bess added two assists.

River Horn scored the lone goal for Mt. Abram (0-1-0).

MCI 3, LAWRENCE 0: Sydney Morton scored a goal and had an assist to lead the Huskies to a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B win in Fairfield.

Claudia Alvarez and Ava Patterson scored for MCI (1-0-0), while Sydney Farrar had an assist for the Huskies. Audrey McCannell had four saves for the shutout.

Lawrence dropped to 0-1-0.

MT. ARARAT 4, SKOWHEGAN 1: Sydney Reed scored a goal for the Indians, who fell to the Eagles in a KVAC A match in Skowhegan.

Amber Merry had seven saves for Skowhegan (0-1-0).

Ryley Leach scored three goals for Mt. Ararat (1-0-0).

ERSKINE 5, WATERVILLE 1: Alex Cleaves had two goals and an assist to lead the Eagles to a KVAC B win in South China.

Sam Falla, Micheal Sprague and Seth Reed each tallied goals for Erskine (1-0). Travis Dow and Caleb Tyler added assists for the Eagles.

Taylor Bielecki tallied the lone goal for Waterville (0-1). Goalkeeper Conrad Ayers had 16 saves.

CAMDEN HILLS 3, MESSALONSKEE 0: Lucas Boetch, Quinn Brown and Marshall Merriam each scored a goal to lift the Windjammers in Oakland.

Boetch made 12 saves for Camden Hills (1-0). Dawson Charles stopped 11 shots for Messalonskee (0-1).

MCI 5, LAWRENCE 1: Five different players scored to lead the Huskies to the KVAC A victory in Fairfield.

Hayden Caldwell, Jacob Sommer, Nick Howard, Jin Xu Jang and Devon Varney each scored for the Huskies (1-0-0).

Jackson Dudley scored the long goal for Lawrence (0-1-0).

Alex Owens had seven saves for the Bulldogs while Duncan Boreham had four for the Huskies.

WINSLOW 8, MOUNT VIEW 0: Anna Petrovic scored three goals and Haley Ward added a goal and two assists to lead the Raiders to the KVAC B win. Natalie Greene, Silver Clukey and Abby Wright also scored for Winslow (1-0-0).
