The budget for Bingham and Moscow in School Administrative District 13 was $3,499,635 when it was rejected July 25. The budget for this next vote on Sept. 5 is still $3,499,635.
In speaking with district personnel. I am told the district feels they have reduced the budget as much as they need to. It’s up to the taxpayers. Most of us are on Social Security and have had our incomes frozen now for the past four years.
We want the students to have a good education, but we also want to be able to live here and keep our homes. The costs of living keeps rising for us and we have nowhere to get more income for ourselves.
The public vote Tuesday, Sept. 5, from 1 to 7 p.m. in both Bingham and Moscow. Get out and vote.
