WATERVILLE — Eben Charles had a hat trick to help the Waterville boys soccer team to a 4-1 win over Nokomis in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Friday afternoon.

Chris Williams had a goal and an assist for Waterville (1-3-1). Ethan Nurr made four saves.

Tregg Umbrianna scored for Nokomis (0-5-0) and Cade Kreider made nine saves.

BREWER 2, WINSLOW 1: Gavin Matthieu scored both goals to lift the Witches at Kennebec Savings Bank Field in Winslow.

Brewer improved to 5-0-0 while Winslow (3-1-0) suffered its first loss of the season.

RICHMOND 9, VALLEY 0: Zach Small scored four goals and had two assists to lead the Bobcats in Richmond.

Matt Rines had three goals and an assist, while Nate Kendrick had a goal and two assists for Richmond (4-0-0). Nick Stillwell had a goal, while Andrew Vachon, Petr Simon and Dustin Simmons each had assists for the Bobcats.

Trystin Shae and Kyle Underhill-Tilton combined for two saves for Richmond.

Dillon Beane had 15 saves for Valley (1-3-0).

TEMPLE 8, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 0: Noah Shepherd and Nikola Kekie scored two goals to lead Temple.

Nathan Riportella, Ilija Ivkovic, Sawyer Derosche and Josiah Bartlett also scored for Temple (4-0-0).

GPC dropped to 1-2-0.

GIRLS SOCCER

ERSKINE 4, GARDINER 0: Haymanot Maynard scored two goals to lead the Eagles in Gardiner.

Kayla Hubbard and Tori Grasse each had a goal and an assist for Erskine (4-1-1), while Lauren Wood and Ashlyn Wing each had assists. Taylor Shute and Caitlin Labbe combined for three saves to earn the shutout.

Brianna Perry had 14 saves for Gardiner (0-4-0).

WATERVILLE 5, NOKOMIS 0: Anika Elias scored two goals to lead the Purple Panthers to the KVAC B victory in Newport.

Mackenzie St. Pierre, Emme Ayers and Hannah LeClair also scored for Waterville.

Britney Buber had two saves for Nokomis.

RICHMOND 13, VALLEY 0: Caitlyn Kendrick scored three goals and Abby Johnson added two as the Bobcats rolled to the East/West Conference victory in Richmond.

Rilie Irish, Makayla Bergeron, Sydney Tilton, Emily Snowden, Leah Wescott, Lindsie Irish, Bre Vintinner and Emily Carbone also scored for the Bobcats (3-2-0).

Jada Ward had 15 saves for the Cavaliers (0-4-0).

MOUNT VIEW 5, BELFAST 1: Katelin Bennett scored three goals to lead the Mustangs in Thorndike.

Monica Wren and Arianna Allen each added goals for Mount View (3-2-0). Sage Pound chipped in with an assist.

Junne Robertson scored the lone goal for Belfast (1-5-0).
