AUGUSTA — MaineGeneral Health’s 14th annual Walk for Hope is planned for 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at Mill Park.
This event has served the hospital’s breast cancer community for 13 years. MaineGeneral is expanding the walk to include fighters, survivors and supporters of every kind of cancer.
Because of the walk, MaineGeneral has purchased cutting-edge technology and helped hundreds get important screenings, as the funds stay local at the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care.
