VASSALBORO — Dirigo and Monmouth qualified for the Class C state championships with strong showings at the Mountain Valley Conference qualifier Wednesday afternoon at Natanis Golf Course.
The team state championships are Saturday at Natanis.

Spruce Mountain also qualified in Class B.
Katie Dixon of Carrabec was the top girl finisher, shooting a 91 to qualify for the individual state championships on Oct. 14, also at Natanis.
Mitchell Tarrio of Kents Hill shot a 72 and qualified for states, as did Trevor Flanagan of Monmouth (79), Cohen Donnell of Oak Hill (86) and Jonah Bergeron of Oak Hill (89).
