Pat, left, and Robin Chase roll a round bale Sunday into the stalls at Happy Farm in Whitefield. The 22 heifers at the dairy farm yielded 25 calves this spring, Robin Chase said. The cows will hopefully be released into the pasture soon. “It’s got to be quick,” Pat Chase said of spring grazing. “I’ve been haying them since October.”
