Video: Fire on Swan Island
A crew from the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife lit a series of small fires on Swan Island, a state-owned wildlife management area just east of Richmond in the Kennebec River. The controlled burn will help grassland birds like the bobolink, meadowlark and savannah sparrow make nests. Posted
