Man gored by his buffalo

NEWFIELD — A York County man was in critical condition Monday night after being attacked by a buffalo on his farm.
The buffalo gored Jerry Sinapius in the thigh and broke some ribs, WGME-TV reported.
Sinapius was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland.
The animal may have been acting aggressively because it is rutting season.
