AUGUSTA — The University of Kentucky dean of nursing is delivering the keynote address to 300 nurses from around the state at the 10th annual Maine Nursing Summit.
Today’s event at the Augusta Civic Center gives Maine nurses the opportunity to receive updates on health care issues on the state and federal levels and to learn about health care and nursing initiatives going on around Maine.
Jane Kirschling, who will deliver the keynote address, was one of the founders of the original Maine Nursing Summit. She has been at the University of Kentucky since 2006.
