I know a wonderful woman with whom I ride on the KVCAP bus from time to time who has stage 4 breast cancer.
She has an enormous fighting spirit and a kind word and a smile for everyone she sees.
I wish I could get to know her better. I believe my life would be enriched by knowing her. It saddens me deeply to know she is suffering from breast cancer.
I recently heard about someone I used to work with indirectly who also has stage 4 breast cancer. She too is a wonderful person. I know she will fight it with everything she has. She told me she would.
Everyone has been touched by cancer in some form.
It is a tough battle trying to beat cancer, but we have a lot of people, including medical professionals and researchers who are doing everything they can. More has to be done.
The public has different events all the time to raise money for cancer research. No one person can do it alone. It has to be joint effort.
