SANFORD — Maine’s top education official is continuing his “listening tour” with stops in southern Maine to hear from teachers, superintendents, students and parents.

Education Commissioner Stephen Bowen will visit Sanford High School and Massabesic High School in Waterboro today. A public forum will be held Monday night in Sanford to hear ideas on what can be done to improve Maine’s education system.

The stops are part of Bowen’s pledge to visit Maine’s nine superintendent regions in his first 100 days on the job.
