SKOWHEGAN — The Somerset County Extension will host two garden workshops today at extension’s office.
Seed staring will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. and square foot gardening will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Participants can learn how to get a garden going early this spring and keep it producing throughout the season.
There is a $2 fee per class to cover the cost of supplies, seedlings and handouts. To register for either or both classes, call 474-9622 or 800-287-1495.
