AUGUSTA— Gov. Paul LePage says he’ll bring Maine’s next Capitol for a Day event to Sagadahoc County on Friday. It’ll be the third Capitol for a Day since February.

LePage plans to tour and meet with staff at shipbuilder Bath Iron Works, neuroscience manufacturer FHC Inc., earthwork and paving contractor H.C. Crooker & Sons and The Highlands independent living center. LePage will also attend a fundraiser for a homeless shelter and a town hall meeting at Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham.

Capitol for a Day is designed to give business leaders and community members a chance to engage with the governor and discuss issues that are important to them.

Capitol for a Day events have already been held in Cumberland and York counties.
