ORONO — Charles Kyeremeh, a 20-year-old University of Maine football player, has died in a motorcycle accident in Pennsylvania.
UMaine said the accident happened Sunday afternoon near Donaldson, Pa.
Kyererneh, a sophomore, was an honor-roll student and star running back at Cedar Crest High School in Lebanon, Pa., before coming to UMaine.
UMaine Coach Jack Cosgrove said Kyeremeh “was an outstanding young man who had a bright future, both on and off the football field.”
