FAIRFIELD — The town will hold an informational meeting at 6 p.m. today at the Fairfield Community Center to review its program, application process and the design guidelines for the second phase of a Community Enterprise Grant award.
The grant, offered through the state Department of Economic and Community Development, would be used for commercial property facade improvements downtown along Main Street, from the intersection with Western Avenue to the southern railroad bridge.
Grants must be matched by business owners. Ames Associates, a Bangor-based firm, is architect and consultant for the project.
