Pfc. Tyler M. Springmann, 19, of Hartland, was killed Sunday while serving in Afghanistan, the Department of Defense announced Tuesday. He died of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
The Morning Sentinel is seeking remembrances of Springmann from people who knew him.
