FARMINGTON — Marjorie Hardy, 20, of Farmington was recently named a recipient of a 2011 Horizon Organic Producer Education program scholarship worth $2,500, which is awarded annually to college students who are Horizon Organic producers or children or grandchildren of Horizon Organic producers.

Hardy, a two-time recipient of the HOPE Scholarship, is the daughter of Henry and Teresa Hardy. She is a student at Ohio State University.
