SKOWHEGAN — Three bus routes will serve local towns this summer. The free bus service has 30 daily stops Monday through Friday and will run until Aug. 26. Buses pick up and drop off passengers in Skowhegan, Canaan, Norridgewock, Madison and Anson.

The bus schedule is posted at each stop and on business counters around the region.

Funded by the New Balance Foundation’s Move More Kids Program for the third summer, the idea is to get adults, children and youth out of the house and active.
