PORTLAND — Maine gasoline prices continue their mid-summer upward trend.

The price-watching website MaineGasPrices.com says the average retail gasoline price in Maine has risen 1.5 cents per gallon in the past week to an average of $3.80 per gallon on Sunday.

With that change, prices are $1.06 per gallon higher than they were on the same day one year ago and 15.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The website says the national average has increased 2 cents in the last week to $3.69 per gallon.
