LIVERMORE — Law enforcement officials are investigating the crash of a car reported stolen into a Livermore swimming pool.

Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Deputy Randy Williams says the crash occurred shortly after midnight Sunday.

Homeowner Terry Buck tells the Sun Journal newspaper she called 911 after hearing the crash in her yard. Buck says the driver, a woman, yelled that she was OK.

But the driver then fled. Buck and other witnesses say they heard another vehicle driving away after the crash.

Williams says the vehicle was reported stolen in Jay.

Meanwhile, Buck’s above ground pool was drained.
