In the Readfield Public Works re-vote article, Lee Sandler is quoted as saying that he hopes that the 424 citizens who voted to shut down public works are intelligent enough to understand what they were doing.
I am one of those 424 voters. I have been a licensed professional engineer practicing civil engineering for more than 40 years and understand the issue well. I also have been a member of the Readfield Road Committee since its inception. His comment is very insulting to us.
