WATERVILLE — The Salvation Army is now looking for back to school supplies for income eligible students attending grades 1-12 in Waterville and Winslow for their 17th annual Back to School Give-away.
Needed items include but are not limited to:
Subject notebooks, two-inch binders, filler paper, pencils, pens, highlighters, pocket folders, erasers, index cards, colored pencils, crayons, markers, scissors, rulers, glue sticks, zippered binders and calculators.
Donated items or monetary gifts to purchase supplies is appreciated. Supplies will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily at The Salvation Army, 225 Main St. or from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at the College Avenue Salvation Army Store.
The donation deadline is Friday and distribution will be Aug. 17, 18, and 19.
