BOSTON — The United States women, led by Abby Dunn of Auburn, led Team USA to the overall title at the USA vs. Canada Junior Race Walk Match at East Boston Memorial Park on Sunday.

Dunn won the women’s race, covering the course in 25 minutes, 54 seconds. She beat out teammate Erica Shaver, who set the early pace and finished second with a time of 26:31. Waterville Senior High School graduate Courtney Williams finished fourth to seal the win for U.S. women, finishing in 27:31. Canada’s top finisher was Katelyn Ramage, who finished third.

Ben Thorne won the men’s race in a time of 44:13 to lead Canada to the victory. Teammate Bruno Carriere finished second, while American Alejandro Chavez was third.
