WILTON — Two people were arrested Saturday in connection with a series of burglaries in town.

On Thursday, Christopher Crandall, 24, and Linda Walsh-Crandall, 52, both of Wilton, were arrested on separate warrants. They were each charged with receiving stolen property, according to a release issued by Richard H. Billian Jr., interim police chief.

Billian stated in the release that the arrests are linked to the series of burglaries in town during the past two months.

IN ATHENS, Monday at 5:42 p.m., a report of larceny or fraud was investigated on Lords Hill Circle.

IN BELGRADE, Sunday at 8:48 a.m., theft was reported on Manchester Road.
