CANAAN — The Friends of the Canaan Public Library will host a fun day 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the new library field on Hinckley Road. There will be children’s activities, 50/50 raffles, food, a yard sale and book sale. Proceeds will benefit the library and the construction of the new library.
Organizers are looking for vendors to rent spaces in the field to sell items throughout the fun day.
If interested in purchasing a space, the library hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturdays. For more information, call 474-6397.
