FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Children’s Task Force will offer Parent To Parent Training, a six-week parent-education class.
The first session will be Aug. 22, 29 and Sept. 5, 12, 19 and 26; the second session will be Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and Nov. 7.
The training will focus on redirecting behavior and dealing with power struggles, building a child’s self esteem, active listening, building respect in the home and problem solving. Childcare will be provided.
Cost is $10; scholarships will be available as needed.
