PORTLAND — Portland temperatures have hit a record high for the third day in a row.

The temperature today hit 81 at the Portland International Jetport, tying the old record for the date set back in 1949.

The National Weather Service says Portland’s 85-degree high on Sunday broke the previous record of 79 degrees, set in 1942 and again in 1943.

The temperature reached 81 on Saturday, which tied the record for that date, set in 1947.
