WATERVILLE — Skowhegan and Nokomis were crowned Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference field hockey champions after their victories Wednesday at Colby College.
Nokomis defeated Belfast, 3-0 in the Class B game on three goals by Leah Edmondson. Skowhegan blanked Messalonskee, 3-0, in the Class A game on two goals by Makaela Michonski and one by Haley Holt.
