As a family member of one of the Readfield selectmen, I would like to publicly thank everyone for staying civil at the recent town meeting.
I know it has been pretty stressful in my home lately, and I know that all the town staff, and volunteers (budget, and road committees) put in many hours trying to find the best solution for the town.
I expect the friends and family of the contractors have been just as stressed and have put in just as many hours.
Now that the decision about the public works has been made, I’m hoping we can all catch up on our sleep and get back to being old friends.
