SKOWHEGAN — Tyler Savage ran for 101 yards and two touchdowns as the Skowhegan Area High School football team beat Mt. Ararat 52-8 to remain in the Pine Tree Conference Class A playoff hunt, on Friday.

Skowhegan, now 5-3, can make the playoffs with a win at Bangor (6-2) next week. Mt. Ararat is now 0-8.

Adam Dusty had 128 yards rushing and a touchdown for Skowhegan, while Ben Clark ran for two scores and a pair of 2-point conversions.

Ethan Johnson returned an interception 80 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter for the Indians.

Skowhegan led at the half, 38-0.

MCI 61, Dexter 16: Maine Central Institute clinched a spot in the Little Ten Conference playoffs with the win in Pittsfield.

Adam Ogden scored three touchdowns in the first half, starting with a 55-yard punt return in the first quarter.

Ogden added a pair of 5-yard touchdown runs in the second quarter.

Jonathan Santiago and Trey Vintinner each scored a pair of touchdowns for MCI (4-4).

Jake McGowan and Mitchell Hallee also scored for the Huskies.

Andrew Levenselor scored both Dexter (1-7) touchdowns, the first on a 62-yard pass from Michael Poulin in the second quarter, and the second on an 80-yard kick return in the fourth.

Poland 34, Winslow 20: Tyler Sturtevant scored three touchdowns as the Knights beat the Black Raiders in a Campbell Conference Class C game in Poland.

Donald Camp scored on a 6-yard run and Tyler Hapworth scored on a 7-yard run and a 4-yard run for Winslow.
