A couple of weeks ago, I was extremely pleased to see the Monmouth Academy boys soccer team show up for Sunday services at the North Monmouth Community Church with their coach Joe Fletcher. The boys were well-dressed, polite and attentive.
With all that’s happening negatively in the world and within our schools, it is reassuring that 12 young men represented their school, their parents and their coach with such high standards and dignity.
These young men, regardless of the score at the end of the games, are positively winners.
