FARMINGTON — The November meeting of Farmington Emblem Club 460 opened with the stationing of the flags of the United States of America, the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem and the opening prayer by member Robin Bragg.

The annual memorial service for departed members was with past president Rebecca Powell draping the charter. The departed members for the prior year were Jean Corcoran and Lena Searles.

The club will do a flag fold at Walmart Friday for the annual veteran’s service.

Another flag folding will be Saturday at the Farmington Baptist Church on Whittier Road. The club will host a shower of items for the men and women serving in Iraq at the January meeting.

The annual Christmas meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1.
